Framing Studio runs in your browser. Unpublished artwork does not need to touch a server.

Artwork stays on your device

Artwork files are read with the browser file APIs. Projects, inventory, and images are stored in IndexedDB in your browser profile. FramingLab has no application backend, so those files are not uploaded.

Analytics

FramingLab uses Vercel Web Analytics to count visits, page views and referring websites without analytics cookies. It does not receive your artwork, project files or calculator dimensions.

If you allow optional usage analytics, FramingLab loads Google Analytics to count page views and product events: calculator use, opening Framing Studio, uploading artwork, creating a frame, changing a mat, opening the workshop, generating a cut plan, running the optimizer, exporting PDF, SVG, or JSON, copying ordering sizes and opening a supplier’s website.

Those events do not include the image, the file name, or the contents of a project file. Calculator and project query values are removed from the page address sent to Google; campaign labels are retained. The Google script is not loaded before you allow it. Test visits are marked internal.

Hosting logs

The host may log IP addresses and user agents at the CDN, the way most static sites do.

Cookies

Framing math does not need an account or an app cookie. Google Analytics, when allowed, may set its own cookies. Your choice is saved in local storage. Change it with Analytics preferences at the bottom of the page. The tools work when analytics is declined, without an account.

Exports you choose

JSON, SVG, and printed PDFs are generated locally. If you email those files or upload them elsewhere, that is your action, not an automatic sync.
